30 million Pixel Phones Sold in 6 Years worldwide.

The report noted that Google has sold around 30 million Pixel devices since launching the Pixel series in 2016 with the original Google Pixel and Pixel XL.With the recent launch of tech giant Google's Pixel 7 series smartphones, a new report has revealed that its Pixel series has sold nearly 30 million smartphone units since its launch.

According to IDC's latest estimates, the number of Pixel smartphones sold in the last 6 years is more than 28.6 million units.Essentially Google sells around 4.6 million Pixel phones a year.
So there is no denying that it has recorded more sales than a few brands within a few years of its launch in the market. However, this number is less when compared to rival companies like Samsung Electronics, which has sold many times more than the above number in 2021 alone.

The Pixel 3a model that was launched in 2019 actually played a major role in boosting the sales of the Pixel series of smartphones.Google sold 7 million units of this mid-range handset in a single year.
In this case, the company's flagship model, Pixel 7, which has been launched now, has sold more than 7 million units in a single year and the company's overall sales will exceed 30 million, the report said.

In India, Google is keen to grab a piece of the market that is currently held by companies like Samsung, One Plus and Apple.Google has unveiled its latest all-new Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the devices coming with Google's next-generation Tensor G2 processor and Android 13.In this, the price of Pixel 7 device is Rs.59,999 and the price of Pixel 7 Pro device is fixed at Rs.84,999. Both these devices will be available for purchase from October 13, the company said.Although there is a big gap between Google Pixel and Samsung smartphone sales, Google claims that the previously launched Pixel 6 series has sold more units than the last two generations of Pixels. The company is hopeful that this success will continue with the Pixel 7 series.

According to some reports from Nikkei Asia, Google has placed orders for around 8 million Pixel 7 devices. This is the largest production order ever for any Pixel device.
In May last year, Google released the design and some details of its Pixel 7 and 7 Pro phones. It will be introduced directly by the company's chairman Sundar Pichai. Along with this phone, Google will also introduce a new Google Watch and headphone.
Now let's take a look at what to expect on these Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones. Both the phones will be equipped with Google's own product chip, the Tensor G2 chip. The chip is a chip developed jointly by Google and Samsung. If you compare its previous 'Tensor G' chip, it appears that the extra will have 10% more capacity.

It looks like both these phones will feature 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM LPDDR5X memory. It will be available in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB. It looks like it will have a higher battery capacity and fast charging facility. You can expect a 5000mAh battery.
Both these phones will have a 50MP main red dish. But its 7 Pro model will feature an additional 48MP Telephoto lens. Its Pixel 7 will only feature a 12MP UltraWide Lens. The 7Pro model will feature a new two-camera mode. One is 'Cinematic Mode' and the other is 'Macro Focus Mode'.
