Delta virus over spread in 18 provinces, China

Three new people were infected with delta virus in Beijing yesterday.One of the three had no symptoms, a city spokesman said. According to sources, the three members of the same family had recently visited Jangjiaji in the tourist town of Hunan province.The visit of 11,000 tourists to the city last Saturday was shocking. All of them have been advised to get tested for corona.
China's leading respiratory specialist Zhang Nanshan has expressed concern over the spread of the delta virus in the city. People from corona-infected areas, motor vehicles, planes and trains, are prohibited from entering the capital Beijing.As of the day before yesterday, 93,500 people in China had been infected with the coronavirus. 4,636 people have died. 1,022 people are still being treated.
