60 countries have been given 11 crore corona vaccines, says US
The US said it had donated 11 crore corona vaccines to 60 countries.
Corona infection is on the rise in many countries due to delta virus. Medical experts said it was spreading rapidly in the UK, Germany, Sweden, France and South Korea.
The US, India, Brazil, France and Russia are among the top 5 countries with the highest incidence of corona virus. The global number of people affected by corona is close to 20 crores.
Meanwhile, the US announced last May that it would donate their surplus corona vaccines to poor countries to help the world in the war against the corona virus.
So far, the US has donated 11 crore corona vaccines to 60 countries.The White House statement also stated that the work of providing 5 lakh corona vaccines each to 100 low-income countries will be started later this month.
